Deji Falae sent me SMS 4-days before his death –Tambuwal
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Aminu Tambuwal yesterday said that the late son of Chief Olu Falae, Deji,  who died in the ill-fated plane that was conveying the remains of Dr Olusegun Agagu, sent him an SMS on how to move Nigeria forward four days before his death
Tambuwal said this when he paid a condolence visit to the Ondo State Governor, Dr Olusegun Mimiko at the Government House, in Akure to commiserate with him on the plane crash which claimed the lives of some state government officials.
Tambuwal, who was accompanied by Senator George Akume, Hon. Yemi Arokodare and Hon Kashim Imam, described the death of Mr Deji Falae, the state Commissioner for Culture and Tourism as a national tragedy.
He said the House received the  news of the incident with a great shock as they were to commence the proceedings of the day.
Tambuwal said the late Falae sent a text message to him  on September 29 on how to move Nigeria  forward, saying that words alone cannot be used to express what happened on that fateful day.
He said: “This is the text message I received from my friend, brother, Deji Falae on  September 29, about 10.25am: “My brother, I trust you and your family are well, I implore you to use your best endeavours to solve the current crisis rocking your party and Nigeria as a whole. History will not be kind to our generation if we don’t make the success of Nigerian project. May the almighty God guide you. Deji Falae”.
In his response, Governor Olusegun  Mimiko, who described the visit as a precious and wonderful one, saying it was an understatement to say the incident was a major shock.
Mimiko thanked the entire leadership and members of the House for their concern for the plight of the people of Ondo State.
