West Ham Offers Carlton Cole a Three-Month Deal.

Carlton Cole proved his match fitness to Sam Allardyce by playing the whole 90 minutes of a friendly with Charlton, and is now due to sign a three month deal with West Ham.
The ex-England international is set for a second stint at the ‘Boleyn Ground’ after leaving the club at the end of the 2012/13 season on expiration of his contract.
Following his inability to secure a move elsewhere in the summer, Allardyce has turned to the free agent to feel up the void in the team’s forward lineup as a result of injury to Andy Carroll.
Cole has been training with the Hammers for a number of weeks in a bid to regain fitness, which has been held up the new contract for a while now.

The striker was assured he was going to get a new deal should he come through the Charlton friendly match unscathed and Cole told fans afterwards he felt good, reports the Daily Mail.
The 30-year-old could be called to play in next Saturday’s league game against Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Carrol, could return to the first team by December. The East London club’s joint owner David Gold tweeted on Saturday: (Carroll’s) working hard to return before December.
