Apathy, late arrival of materials attend Delta central bye-election

The Delta Central Senatorial District bye-election that was held on Saturday witnessed voter apathy, late arrival of election materials, absence of election officials and allegations of hijack of materials in some areas.
The bye-election was necessitated by the death of Senator Pius Ewherido on June 30.
Ewherido won the election in 2011 on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Party.
