2015 Imo Guber: Okorocha's men battle Ihedioha

The 2015 guber ambition of the Deputy Speaker of House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha has suffered another set back as Governor Okorocha's men from Mbaise nation have vowed to prevent him from being endorsed by Mbaise people. Speaking with journalists at the residence of Chief P.C Onuoha in Owerri yesterday, the group under the auspices of Mbaise leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC) from the three local governments in Mbaise nation namely Ahiazu, Ezinihitte and Aboh Mbaise maintained that Mbaise people have never adopted Rt. Hon. Ihedioha for the guber race in 2015.
The Chairman of the Forum Charles Onuoha said that the group that made the pronouncement was creating confusion among the people of Mbaise.
While reacting to a newspaper report that Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha (representing Ezinihitte and Ngor Opkala in the Federal House of Representatives was adopted by the Mbaise people, Onuoha said that those behind the action was not doing it for the interest of the masses, pointing out that it was an action aimed at archieving their selfish interest and deceiving whoever they have adopted.
He warned that any attempt by any group of element to destabilize the peaceful atmosphere among people of Mbaise would be rejected by the good citizens of Mbaise.
Onuoha who hails from Ahiazu said that the Mbaise leaders of All Progressives Congress would make APC formidable in Ezinihitte, Aboh and Ahiazu Mbaise especially to compliment the landmark achievements of Governor Rochas Okorocha.
Speaking also Chief Alan B Onyemachi said that the so called adoption was a disturbing one that has caused high level of controversy and total rejection by the Mbaise people, the Aboh Mbaise born politicians expressed satisfaction that Mbaise people have spoken their mind.
In his remark Barr. Ebo Nmaduforo from Ezinihitte Mbaise said that there was no reason for the adoption, stressing that those behind the action must apologize for taken the people of Mbaise for granted.
Present during the meeting were all the APC political leaders in Mbaise including Chief P.C Onuoha.
