Army Troops Kill Nine Boko Haram Terrorists In Borno Raid

The Nigerian Army, 7 Division, Friday, said its troops killed nine suspected Boko Haram terrorists in Rimanti Alagarno villages of Damboa local government area of Borno state.
The suspected terrorists were killed when the troops of the Division launched an attack on their hideouts/camps near the Sambisa Forests.
Confirming the killing of the terror suspects, the army in a statement signed by its spokesman, Lt. Col Muhammad Dole said, “In a midnight encounter with the Boko Haram terrorists, the Nigerian Army, 7 Division killed nine Boko Haram terrorists, while others fled with various degree of injuries along Rimanti-Alagarno road in Damboa local government area of Borno state on Thursday 14th November 2013″.
According to the statement, during the encounter large arms and ammunitions were recovered with the destruction of 2 pick up vehicles belonging to the terrorists, while a pick up vehicle and 3 motorcycles were equally recovered by the troops
